We'll continue to update our events for Isekai Anime Con 2025!
The Cosplay Contest has two categories: Performance & Craftmanship. Entries may choose to compete in one or both categories if they qualify. If they don't qualify or don't want to be part of the competition they may appear as an "Exhibition" entry.
There will be three winners per division (skill level) in each category and one overall "Best in Show". The Judges may also do honorable mentions but they will not include official awards or prizes (All awards presented are at the judges’ discretion).
If you are uncertain which division to sign up for feel free to reach out to our cosplay contest coordinator at Kame@isekaianimecon.com
Groups or individuals that are doing performance may request to be judged on Craftmanship as well, but no one can go on stage a second time to be judged separately for Craftmanship.
Winners will receive awards among other prizes!!
Our 2025 Cosplay Contest is now full!
We invite you to come enjoy the show and support all of the talented cosplayers performing this year.

Meet your judges

Two cosplayers, one stage
Who will embody their character the best? Lip sync, dance, and let your cosplay shine!
Jez Roth invites you to step into the spotlight and show us you are ready to conquer the stage!
How it works!
For each round, a different song will be announced (the playlist will be posted here a few weeks before the convention, so keep an eye out for it).
From a show of hands, two brave audience members will be chosen to battle it out on stage for two minutes of pure performance.
Once the music stops, the two judges will declare one of the 2 challengers the winner of that round.
We'll kick things off with a demo so everyone knows what to expect from a Lip Sync battle!
One performance per person, unless we need more volunteers for a song.
Grand Finale
The ultimate song remains a secret until the very last moment!
Anyone can compete, even if you've already rocked the stage.
But here's the twist: judges will be hand-picking the finalists, so your earlier performance could be your ticket to victory!
Guidelines
Bring your best voguing – spins, hand movements, and death drops are encouraged ONLY for those with the skill.
Safety first: no stage jumps or complex acrobatics.
No sign-up required, we'll pick contestants from the crowd!
You do NOT need to be in costume, but it adds to the performance element.
Judging is based off of three things:
- Knowing the words
- Choreography
- Presence
This also factors in cosplaying elements. Are you using parts of your costume, cape or prop to add to your performance? Are you nervous or owning the stage? Are you working the crowd or staying still?
Suit up, show up, and get ready to rock! Whether you're hitting the stage or cheering from the crowd, let's make it unforgettable!
